Today my husband and I had a great workout! We did this workout in our basement with one of our kids home. There were a few quick breaks to move the little one or occupy him with a different toy, but it was still a great workout!:)
I have been going back and forth on whether to join a local CrossFit gym (my three month membership ran out.) It’s very expensive and the classes are not the most convenient to get to. For right now, I am going to do my own CrossFit workout in my basement for a little while and see how that goes. I will be honest, it is much easier sometimes to head to the gym than head to the basement, but it’s so much cheaper to stay home!
Our workout today consisted of 3 pieces of equipment:
- Kettle Bell
- Two 10 pound dumbbells.
Don’t worry, if you do not have some of these things, it’s so easy to improvise. If you do not have a treadmill try a jump rope. If you do not have a kettle bell try a dumbbell. If you do not have a dumbbell, try cans or a bag of potatoes. Seriously, you can pick any item and lift it! It’s still going to give you a good workout!
20 minutes- rotate every minute
You go through this rotation without a break until you complete 20 minutes. Let me know how your workout goes!
