Grape Salad
Oct 20
I’m not sure if you would really call this grape salad or just MY FAVORITE SALAD! I got this recipe from a friend. It’s a hearty salad that will leave you full and satisfied.
Grape Salad:
Romaine Lettuce
2 cups grapes, cut in half
1 cup Swiss cheese, I add a little extra
4 cups cooked chicken, diced
2 cups cashews or almonds, I use chopped or sliced
Dressing:
2/3 cup olive oil
1/3 cup of apple cider vinegar
Sugar- this is where you have a few options. I did not want to use white sugar so I added 2 tablespoons of agave nectar. You could also add a few packets of stevia. If you prefer sweet-n-low or splenda that would work too. Honestly, you do not need to add much sweetness to this recipe. I have made this without the sugar and it was still good.
1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1 teaspoon wet mustard
2-3 squirts of worcestershire sauce
Black pepper
